EBUKA'S WARDROBE MALFUNCTION ON BIGBROTHER NAIJA

Image result for Ebuka, bigbrother naija      The host of Bigbrother naija show,Ebuka Uchendu, caused an internet meltdown on the eviction live show on Sunday after he appeared dressed up with a bulge in his pants around his bruhaha area

The Sunday’s eviction show which witnessed the eviction of housemate,Coco Ice was not the topic of the day as all attention was on the host's pants. Ebuka has since apologized for the distraction while many took to twitter and Facebook to express their gratitude for the display or their disgust for the distraction.
The question now is: Does Ebuka needs a bigger pant? or was there a cause for the obvious bulge?

FEMALE NIGERIAN SCIENTISTS YOU DIDNT KNOW ABOUT

Image result for international day of girls and women in science  Nigeria, like many other African societies encourages male dominance in all the major aspects of life. This dominance of the male gender is very conspicuous in the Science,Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields of the Nigerian academia.
According to Rabia Salihu Sa’id, “Nigeria women make up only 17 percent of all science researchers.”
Girls continue to face stereotypes and social and cultural restrictions, limiting their access to education and funding for research, preventing them from scientific careers and reaching their full potential. Women remain a minority in science research and decision-making.And that is why on the 22 December 2015, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted a resolution to establish an annual International Day to recognize the critical role women and girls play in science and technology communities, and that day is 11th february of every year.

Many women have made exploits in science,Technology,Engineering and Mathematics across the globe, some of them include: Tracy Chou (A Software Engineer),Ursula M Burns,Cora Creed and many others, one can say that these women thrived in a environment with less stereotypes towards the female gender than it is experienced in Africa and that is why The Nigerian Academia considers it important to celebrate some unique women among others who, despite all odds have made excellent achievements just as their male counterparts in various fields of the Sciences.

The pictures of a starving boy left for death in southeastern Nigeria went viral and broke many hearts last year, the two year old was found emaciated and riddled with worms after being abandoned.

Hope was abandoned by his family because they thought he was a witch and was found in the streets by Anja Ringgren Loven, a Danish woman living in Nigeria early last year.On reaching the hospital after being rescued,he was given medication to remove the worms from his stomach and daily blood transfusions to incorporate more red blood cells into his body, few days later,Ms Loven received  more than $1million in donations from around the world to help keep Hope alive.
Hope was rescued on January 31

A year on to this day, she posted amazing before and after photographs of the boy to show the world his miraculous recovery. In an emotional Facebook post, she wrote:
'On the 30th of January 2016 I went on a rescue mission with David Emmanuel Umem, Nsidibe Orok and our Nigerian team.
'A rescue mission that went viral, and today it's exactly one year ago the world came to know a young little boy called Hope
'This week Hope will start school.'
Hope looked unrecognisable after gaining weight and he has been pictured smiling for the camera eight weeks after he was foundThe healthy-looking boy has made a remarkable recovery after his traumatic ordeal
   In another facebook post,she wrote:
'As you can see in the pictures, Hope is really enjoying his life now having 35 new brothers and sisters who all take such good care of him, play with him, study with him, and make sure he is safe and is getting a lot of love.'
Hope was rescued by Danish charity worker Anja Ringgren Loven, who was working in AfricaHope, pictured with Anja, was abandoned by his parents because they though he was a witch
Ms Loven is the founder of 'African Children's Aid Education and Development Foundation', which she created few years ago to help children who have been abandoned by the members of their family or
community.
Anja, who works with a number of children in Nigeria, sits with Hope and another child on her lapHope is pictured looking at a book with two other children. He looks nothing like the starving boy found by Anja Ringgren Loven, a Danish woman living in Africa, on January 31, 2016

MIYONSE;I FELT THAT BEING AROUND TBOSS WILL MAKE HER FANS AND MY FANS SAVE ME

Miyonse was the second housemate to be evicted from the big-brother naija house last Sunday,it was a shock to the chef who felt he had his game plan perfected. In an interview with pulse,ex-housemates Miyonse and Soma narrated their experiences while in the bigbrother house.
Soma and Miyonse

PULSE: What would Soma and Miyonse do differently if given a second chance in the Big Brother Naija house?

SOMA:

I probably would have pushed more of my strategy. What I planned was, make a couple of girls like me and then you know, make them have issues,But then, I don't think I would have done anything differently. I would have just been myself and I was myself in the house.
 bbnn5-2.jpg

MIYONSE:

What can I say. Maybe I would have kissed TBoss harder, squeezed her harder, smooched her harder. Nah, I don't think so.
"Like I have said all day, if a strategy goes your way, you are hailed, but if it goes south, you are shit. I felt like the strategy I was applying was the best at that time. I was nominated for eviction, and I felt that being around Tboss and bringing her own fans to my own fanbase would save me."
"For the mere fact that it [their strategy] didn't work for us doesn't mean we had a bad strategy. It happened that the three people that were nominated were strong candidates. Just imagine Soma, Efe and I.
"This is not to brag, but we were the life of the party. If you were watching the show well, you would have seen that there never was a dull moment with us. This is not to bring anyone down or say that the other housemates in there are trash or not doing enough.
Miyonse was nominated by Bally, Bisola, Kemen, Tboss, TTT, Marvis, Efe and Cocoice, while Soma was nominated by Bally, Kemen and Cocoice during the Live nomination show on Monday, January 30, 2017.
