Due to the incessant genocide going on in Southern Kaduna,The Christian Association of Nigeria has ordered the second Sunday of the new year January 8,2017 as National Day of Mourning over southern Kaduna killings.The CAN president commended president Muhammadu Buhari for his breakthrough in combating the Boko Haram fundamentalists in the country however,his silence over the Southern kaduna killings has led to more anger and bitterness for those affected.
It is glaring that we (Christians) are all we've got,therefore it is time for us to practice what we have preached for all these years,it's time to be our brother's keeper,we are encouraged to come together to mourn our lost brothers and sisters and pray for peace in Kaduna and Nigeria at large.
Every Christian is to wear black and remain prayerful on this day as we wait for a divine intervention.
May the souls of all who were forced to depart this world in this genocide rest in peace and may God comfort those left behind.Amen
